“Remembering Lee’s Summit” Trolley Tour
Step aboard for a spine-tingling ride through one of Lee’s Summit’s most historic resting places. As twilight settles over the stones, guide Jeremy Wisner, director/owner of Langsford Funeral Home, will lead guests through Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery, sharing the stories behind the names, dates, symbols, and shadows found among the graves.
This is not a haunted house or a ghost hunt—it is a respectful, atmospheric journey into local history with just the right touch of the eerie. Along the way, guests will hear tales of early residents, Civil War-era figures, veterans, families, mysteries in the records, and the quiet details carved into cemetery monuments.
Expect an evening of local lore, forgotten lives, unusual epitaphs, and stories that linger after the trolley rolls on. Jeremy’s guided narration will help bring the cemetery’s past into focus—sometimes poignant, sometimes curious, and occasionally a little chilling.
