The Museum is located in historic Downtown Lee’s Summit where the WPA Post Office was housed in 1939.
The gift shop is located inside the Museum and offers a variety of items about the history of Lee’s Summit as well as other local items. The gift shop is open whenever the Museum is open.

We follow the Lee’s Summit R7 snow day schedule.

- Historical Society members — free
Active duty military personnel and/or their spouses and children (must present a current military ID card) receive free admission from Memorial Day through Labor Day annually.
